Connection Refused

A common error for Mac users regarding the printers is appearing to be completely connected but when going to print receving an error saying "Connection Refused"

If this happens, a common fix is making sure you are logged on to webfx network using your most up to date credentials.  To do this you will have to forget the network and rejoin webfx.

To do this do the following:

  1.  Click on the WiFi icon in the Apple Menu Bar
  2. Click on Open Network Preferences
  3. Make sure the Network Name is webfx
  4. Click on Advanced...
  5. While the webfx network is highlighted blue, click on the - icon to remove the network

To add the network back:

  1. Click on the + icon
  2. Type the name of the network to be webfx and select WPA/WPA2 Enterprise from the security drop down menu
  3. You will be prompted for your credentials, make sure they match the same ones you are using to print
  4. Close out the window
  5. When back at the main network window, select webfx from the Network Name drop down menu

This should now allow printer access and the print job should go through.
