Add a Person to Department Directory

Add Content - Person

The Department Directory Page is a view, a collection of content, and is not edited directly. Instead, individual Person entries are edited.
After logging in:
1. Select Content > Add Content
2. Select Person

 

Add Content

Enter Full Name, First Name, Last Name.
Select what category they belong to under on the Directory page in the Directory Category drop down (not all sites have categories).

 

Add Person Content

Select Choose File to add a Photo. Once selected, click UPLOAD.
Enter a Job Title.
Enter a Phone number (using format (xxx)-xxx-xxxx).
Enter a Fax.
Enter Office number.
Select a Building from the dropdown.

 

Add Person Content

Enter Email address (Used to display the email address on the main directory page).
Enter Email (Used to display the email address on the personal page).
Enter Twitter Url (Enter the URL (without http://) of your Twitter profile, e.g.: twitter.com/your-account).
Enter Twitter url (Enter the URL (without http://) of your Twitter profile, e.g.: twitter.com/your-account).
Enter Linked In Url (Enter the URL (without http://) of your Linkedin profile, e.g.: www.linkedin.com/in/your-account).
Enter Linkedin url (Enter the URL (without http://) of your Linkedin profile, e.g.: www.linkedin.com/in/your-account).

 

Add Person Content

Add Body content. This will display on the personal page under the contact information.

 

Add CV, Website, Honors, Recent Publications

Add CV, Website, Honors, and Recent Publications content. If there is content within these sections, the blue accordian quicktab will display at bottom of personal page.

 

Save

Select Save.
This will add the person to the directory page.
