Purpose: Add additional screens to a digital signage setup
Introduction
This article will detail how to add a new screen to Screen.Cloud.
Connecting a New Screen to Screen.Cloud
- After connecting the display and associated computer (including network connectivity), if not already installed, download and install the Screen.Cloud application from https://screen.cloud/
- After installing the application, you will be presented with a 6 character pairing code. Write this code down as you will need it later.
- Now, login to Screen.Cloud using the account of the screen owner or screen owner backup.
- Along the left, click on "Screens"
- If you are adding this screen to a new location, click "Create New Group" and name the group the location of the new screen, for example "Keating Centre Lobby".
- If you are adding this screen to an existing location, click "Add Screen".
- Enter the Pairing Code from step 2 above and give the screen a descriptive name for the specific location, for example "Keating Box Office Screen"
- Check "Add screen in preview mode" so that the screen can billing doesn't occur until the content for the screen has been created and set.
- Click and drag the new screen to the group that best describes the location of the screen.
- When the screen's content has been set and you're ready to set the screen "Live", click on "In Preview Mode (click to publish)"
