Purpose: Remove a screen or display a specific screen in Screen.Cloud
Introduction
This article details how to pause a screen (keep the screen connected to Screen.Cloud but display nothing) or delete (remove the screen from Screen.Cloud entirely).
Pausing A Screen
Pausing a screen will keep the screen connected to Screen.Cloud, but won't display any content except for a message indicating the screen has been paused.
- Login to Screen.Cloud
- On the screen you want to pause, click on the gear to the right of the screen name.
- Now on the right under Status, click (pause).
- The screen will now be paused and display the message: "The screen is currently paused. Please log into signage.screen.cloud to resume screen use".
- To resume the screen, follow steps #1-2, under "Status" click "(resume)"
Deleting a Screen
A deleted screen will be entirely removed from Screen.Cloud and will need to be re-added and re-configured.
- Login to Screen.Cloud
- On the screen you want to pause, click on the gear to the right of the screen name.
- Now on the right click "More" > "Delete Screen"
- You will be asked to confirm your decision. If you are sure you want to delete the screen, click "Delete Screen"
