Summary

This guide will walk you through the connection steps for accessing myData and Banner Self-Service on campus

Step 1: Connect to the Portal

To access MyData (Students):

  1. Open an Internet browser
  2. Go to portal.stfx.ca
  3. Login with your StFX credentials i.e. jdoe or x2020abc (same as Moodle, Microsoft 365)

Step 2: Select the System and Login

MyData

  • StFX username (ie x2020abc) and StFX password. 
  • Click on the Home folder to view your reports

Troubleshooting 

If you are unable to access MyData for any reason, please try the steps below:
  1. Open a Private or Incognito window. Logging in through an incognito window can often temporarily resolve log-in issues.
  2. Reset your password at mypassword.stfx.ca. Even if you know your password, resetting it can solve many issues with syncing or cached credentials.
