Environment: User who does not have office 365 products/applications on computer
Purpose: Guide on how to download the office suite to your computer
Installing the Office 365 suite directly on your device allows you to access the full versions of the Office suite. It uses your StFx account to allow you to install the suite on up to five devices.
1) Go to office.com
2) Login with your full StFX email and stfx password (your full email address and password).
3) Click on "apps" in the left hand side, and then click on "Install Apps". Then click on "Microsoft 365 apps"
4) Click "Install Office"
5) Once finished downloading, click on the file to open the .exe file.
6) Follow through prompts (Click yes).
7) Office will now begin installing, this can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes to install depending on internet connection.
8) Once installed, you may be prompted to sign in. Use you StFX credentials that were used earlier again here.
