Environment: Connected to the Internet and on the mypassword.stfx.ca page
Purpose: Set or add recovery information to your office account
Add a method
- Go to mypassword.stfx.ca
- Choose the third option, Update Information
- Log in using your StFX credentials

- A code will be sent to your current default contact method, enter this code.
Add method
- To add a new contact method select the add method button.

- Choose the method you'd like to add from the dropdown. ( Steps to add an Authenticator app method can be found here )

- Enter your information for your preferred contact method. ( Phone call method pictured, you can choose to be contacted by text or call by selecting 'Text me' or 'Call me'.)
- If you've chosen 'Text me' or added an email you will receive a code to enter.
- If you added a phone to call you will receive a call and be directed to press pound to confirm.
- If you've chosen this method, make sure you are nearby the phone added.

Remove a method
- In the Security Info page, click the 'Delete' in line with the contact method you'd like to remove.
- Click OK
Edit a method
- In the Security Info page, click the 'Edit' in line with the contact method you'd like to edit.
- Enter the new info, and confirm it as you would when adding a method.
