Updating my StFX owned mac to sync with my stfx account

Looking to sync your computer log-in to your StFX password? This is a common ask following a password change. This guide will walk you through the process on your university-issued Mac.

 

Mac's Deployed or imaged Aug 2023 and beyond

1. Open System Settings
2. Select Users and Groups from the sidebar
3. Double-click your username
4. Click the Change button beside the password field

Mac's Deployed Prior to August 2023

1. 1 Plug into the ethernet
2. Log out and back into your computer using your new password
3. If prompted create a new keychain.
