Environment: StFX user on Banner Self-Service
Purpose: Guide on how to and what credentials to use for logging into Banner Self-Service.
As of October 6, 2025 Banner Self-Service will no longer use ID and PINs for access. Instead you will use your StFX email and password.
Step 1: Log in to Banner Self-Service
To access Banner Self-Service:
- Open an internet browser (If you are not prompted to log in, try using a private/incognito window)
- Go to https://banner.stfx.ca/
- Select Banner Self-Service (Student) or Banner Self-Service (Faculty)
- Log in with your StFX credentials i.e. jdoe@stfx.ca or x2020abc@stfx.ca (same as Microsoft 365)
Step 2: Select the Service
