Downloading Collaborate Recordings

This video demonstrates how to go into Collaborate Online class in Moodle to find and download class recordings. I also recommends to use alternative methods to record lessons or lectures designed to be used for multiple classes.

Collaborate can record video. For privacy and security and data management reasons, recordings will be deleted within one year (or sooner in some cases). It is also recommended to only record sessions if you absolutely have to record. To record lectures that might be re-used, other platforms such as Teams, PowerPoint, or Clipchamp are a more secure and accessible option.
