Adding Content to Digital Signage

 

 

Adding content to your digital signage is done by using Apps. These are similar to those found on a cell phone in that the offer current, up to date information.  ScreenCloud Apps include news, weather, YouTube, and many more.  ScreenCloud also allows the user to create customized bulletin notices as well as connect personal websites and video links.

 

In the menu on the left hand side, the second option from the top will be the App Store.  Here, you can find all sorts of Apps prepared by ScreenCloud for you to customize and use.

In order to add them to you Content Library follow these steps:

  1. While in the App Store select the App you wish to add
  2. Once you've selected an App, you will be brought to a page where it goes more into detail about its features and also will provide you with an App Guide to help set it up.
  3. Should you decide not to use the App, click Back to App Store in the upper right hand corner.
  4. If you decide to use the App, click Add This App which is also found in the upper right hand corner.

If you decide to add the App you will be presented with the option to Configure it.  Here you can change settings and add customization.  You can also preview what it will look like by selecting Preview App.

If everything looks how you would like it, click on Add App to add it to your Content Library.

Some common Apps include:

Weather: Can be set for any place you'd like

News: Features up to date, current national/world news

Noticeboard: Allows you to create a customized message for your sign, could be used for important notices or reminders

YouTube:  Allows you to add a link to show a specific video that is on YouTube
