Mulroney Hall (MULH)

MULH Classroom Technology

  • AV Switch and Interface: Crestron
    • Source Control: Choose a source (Laptop, PC, Document Camera, PTZ Camera, Screen Share), then select an output (Left Projector, Confidence Display, Right Projector). The same works for audio output; select a source, and then select Audio Output. PIC Mute will display a black screen until you press it again. 
    • Microphone Control: Device volume can be adjusted using the bar on the right side of the screen. Lapel and podium microphone volume can be adjusted under the Microphone Control tab. 
    • Display Control: Displays can be toggled on and off using the Display Control menu.  
    • Camera Control: The PTZ camera can be controlled using the Camera Control menu. This can be used for lecture capturing, presentations, or as a web camera. For use as a web cam, open an application that shows the camera (like Teams, or Camera) and use the Camera Control menu to adjust the PTZ Camera as needed. 
  • Desktop Computer: Dell Pro Micro QCM1250 
  • Document Camera: Lumens DC193
    • Set the source to Document Camera, and set the output where desired.
    • Press the Power button, and then press the Auto Tune button to optimize the image
    • Press Focus to refocus the image if the device is moved

    • To adjust volume, refer to the Microphone Controls section
    • Verify that the Mute switch on the top is in the correct position (shown in first picture)

SCHW Classroom Technology

  • AV Switch: Crestron (SCHW 110), AMX Jetpack-JPK 1300 (All Others)
    • AMX Jetpack-JPK 1300
      • Display On/Off: The display can be toggled using the Display On and Display Off buttons
      • Source Control: There are 3 source options that can be selected. HDMI1 selects the classroom desktop computer. HDMI2 selects the document camera. USB-C selects the USB-c cable provided for an external device (laptop, tablet, etc)
      • Volume Control: Volume can be controlled using the knob above 
    • Crestron:

  • AV Switch: Crestron (PS 1072, PS 2034, PS 2041, PS 2045, PS 3034, PS 3035, PS 3046), Extron (PS 1080, PS 1096, PS 2010, PS 2037, PS 3037, PS 3066)
    • Crestron:
      • Source Control: Choose a source (Laptop, PC, Document Camera), to see it displayed on the projector. PIC Mute will display a black screen until you press it again.
      • Display Control: Use the toggle to turn the projector on and off
      • Volume Control: Use the buttons to adjust the audio output level
    • Extron:
      • Source Control: Select Source (Doc Cam, Laptop, PC, DVD) to see the image from that device displayed on the projector
      • Display Controls: Use On/Off toggle to turn the display/projector on and off. Use PIC Mute to turn off the screen temporarily, and press again to undo. Use Auto Image to automatically adjust the display image for best output.
      • Volume Control: Use the dial to adjust the volume output from the speakers. 
  • Desktop Computer: Dell Pro Micro QCM1250
  • Document Camera: Lumens DC193 or Elmo TT-12iD
    • Lumens DC193:
      • Set the source to Document Camera, and set the output where desired.
      • Press the Power button, and then press the Auto Tune button to optimize the image
      • Press Focus to refocus the image if the device is moved

    • Lumens PS751:
      • Set the source to Document Camera, and set the output where desired.
      • Pull up the Camera and Camera Arm to desired position
      • Pull up the Lamp Arm to desired position
      • Press Power button
      • Press Auto Tune to have the picture best optimized
      • Press Auto Tune any time the camera is moved

    • Elmo:
      • Set the source to Document Camera, and set the output where desired.
      • Press the Power button. WAIT UNTIL THE LIGHT STOPS FLASHING
      • Use the Zoom In/Out dial to adjust zoom
      • Use the Brightness Up/Down buttons to adjust brightness
      • Use Illuminator power switch to turn on and off the light

  • AV Switch: Hall Tech HT-TRK1 (GM 001, GM 108) or HDMI Switch (GM 111, GM 112, GM 113)
    • Hall Tech HT-TRK1:
      • Source Control: Choose your input source (PC, Laptop, Doc Cam) to see it displayed by the projector.
      • Display Control: Use the On/Off buttons to turn the display/projector on and off.
      • Volume Control: Use the dial to adjust volume output level from the speakers in the room 
    • HDMI Switch:
      • This is a box with a button on it that cycles through all devices connected with HDMI
      • Press the button to begin cycling through devices until the desired input is being displayed by the projector
      • Note: Ensure the desired input device is powered on before pressing the cycle button
  • Desktop Computer: Dell Pro Micro QMC1250 (GM 001) or iMac (GM 113) or Mac Mini 14,1 (GM 108, GM 111)
  • Document Camera: Lumens PC193
    • Set the source to Document Camera, and set the output where desired.
    • Press the Power button, and then press the Auto Tune button to optimize the image

      • Source Control: Select the input source (PC, USB-C, Doc Cam) that you would like to see displayed by the projector 
      • Display Control: Use the Projector Power buttons to turn the projector screen on/off
      • Volume Control: Use the Volume slider and mute button to control volume. For more advanced sound customization, select Sound Settings, and adjust sliders as needed 
      • Camera Control: To control the PTZ Camera, select Camera Control and use the buttons to control camera Pan, Tilt, and Zoom as needed 
    • Hall Tech HT-TRK1:
      • Source Control: Select the source (PC, BYOD USB-C, DOC CAM, BYOD HDMI) that you would like to see displayed by the projector 
      • Display Control: Use the Power button on the top right to turn the display on/off
      • Volume Control: Use the slider along the bottom of the screen to adjust the volume output levels
      • Camera Control: Select the Camera icon on the top right of the screen to open the Camera Settings. Here you can use the buttons to adjust Pan, Tilt, Zoom, and Focus. It is recommended to leave the Focus Mode set to Auto. You can also adjust camera tracking settings by selecting the Tracking button 
  • Desktop Computer: Dell Pro Micro QMC1250
