Recovering office applications when read only mode.

Body

If you have opened a document but are unable to edit or save it, you're likely stuck in "Read-Only Mode". "Read-Only Mode" normally occurs when a file was downloaded from the Internet as a security precaution, but can also happen when Microsoft has a password error.

Solution:

  1. Sign out of your Microsoft window.
    1. Click on File
    2. Click "Sign Out"
    3. A dialog box will pop up, press yes
