Pausing or Deleting Screens

 

Introduction

This article details how to pause a screen (keep the screen connected to Screen.Cloud but display nothing) or delete (remove the screen from Screen.Cloud entirely).

Pausing A Screen

Pausing a screen will keep the screen connected to Screen.Cloud, but won't display any content except for a message indicating the screen has been paused.

  1. Login to Screen.Cloud
  2. On the screen you want to pause, click on the gear to the right of the screen name.
  3. Now on the right under Status, click (pause).
  4. The screen will now be paused and display the message: "The screen is currently paused. Please log into signage.screen.cloud to resume screen use".
  5. To resume the screen, follow steps #1-2, under "Status" click "(resume)"

Deleting a Screen

A deleted screen will be entirely removed from Screen.Cloud and will need to be re-added and re-configured.

  1. Login to Screen.Cloud
  2. On the screen you want to pause, click on the gear to the right of the screen name.
  3. Now on the right click "More" > "Delete Screen"
  4. You will be asked to confirm your decision. If you are sure you want to delete the screen, click "Delete Screen"
