Activation Error for Office 365

Environment -  Systems with the office365 applications installed

Problem: File are opening in read only mode in office applications

All active students, staff and faculty have ability to download and use the office local applications.   Due to restrictions in the Microsoft Educational licensing Operational, affiliates, and retirees are not eligible.


1. Sign out of office applications and quilt all open office apps

2.  Remove any Microsoft Office and adfs credentials stored in Keychain (Mac) or credential Manager (Windows)

3.  Launch an Office application sign in using your full stfx email and most recent password.
