Windows Activation Error

Environment: Using a StFX deployed Windows 10 device.

Problem: Receiving a windows activation error

All StFX systems need to check in to our licensing server once in a while. 

On campus plug a network cable into your computer. 

Connect your device to an active network jack using an Ethernet cable.     An Ethernet cable looks similar to a phone cable just larger.   If you don't have one can be be supplied at the IT Services HelpDesk. 

Off Campus

While traveling or working remotely, connect to the Foritclient VPN.  After being connected for a few minutes your license will be validated, the message will go away.
