Making a Distribution List on Outlook

Create a contact group or distribution list in Outlook

Use a contact group (formerly called a “distribution list”) to send an email to multiple people—a project team, a committee, or even just a group of friends—without having to add each name to the To, Cc, or Bcc line individually.

To begin, Log in to Office365 on the Web Browser, and then select Outlook

To get to Office365 Web Version, put office365.stfx.ca in your browser search bar. or, click here

Once logged in, select Outlook. Here you should see the "People" icon, underneath Calendar. From there, click the down arrow after new contact to reveal "New Contact List"

From here, you are able to name your new list, as well as input all recipients, and make a description of what the list will be used for.

Once your recipients are added, you are able to send/receive emails to your list, by accessing the list and selecting "Send Email".
