Mapping Network Drives - macOS

 

This guide will show you how to map your drive in macOS

Open Finder

Go to your Dock and Select Finder.

 

Select Go, and Then Connect to Server.

Click on the GO menu in the Finder toolbar at the top of the screen and choose Connect to Server... from the drop down menu.

 

Enter the Address of the Server

For H Drive, Enter:
smb://juno/yourusername$

For W Drive, Enter:
smb://alonso/yourusername$

For departmental drives, Enter:
smb://juno.stfx.ca/depts$

Once you know the name of the department drive folder you want to access you can map directly to it instead by entering;
smb://juno.stfx.ca/depts$/departmentname

Click the + sign to add the server address to your Favorite Servers list.

Click Connect
