Recovering your Account via MyPassword

This guide will help walk you through recovering your account using Microsoft's interface. This can be found on https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/

 

 

Begin by typing your StFX email address in full, followed by the characters shown in the photo. Click "Next".

 
 

Select your verification method on the left and click the appropriate button (email or text) to receive a verification code.

 
 

Type the verification code in the box and click "Next".

 
 

Create a new password and confirm it. Please remember that StFX passwords must be a minimum of 14 characters long, and cannot be the same as the past 25 passwords used with the account.

 
 

Once you see the checkmark, your new password will be active and you can exit the browser.
