Viewing reports in Moodle

1. Log into Moodle using your webFX Username and Password

Navigate to moodle.stfx.ca in your web browser.

2. Identify the course whose statistics you would like to look at.

The first page that opens after log in is your dashboard. This is a list of all the courses you are enrolled in as an instructor or as a student.

3. Click the gear in the top right corner of your course page and click More.

4. Under course administration, and reports choose:

5. Logs: you can narrow down the activities by participant, date, and items on Moodle page. This is a very useful tool to check the participants’ activity in the course.

6. Live logs: this feature shows the live action at that moment, who is logged in, from what IP address, and what they do.

7. Activity report: It is a log list showing you the number of views for each item on Moodle and the last date of access.

8. Course participation: This feature can narrow down the activities on a specific item on Moodle by duration of time, student or group, and action

9. Statistics: this feature shows the activities in a graph and can be narrow down by time period or participants’ roles.
