Determinine the Age of your Computer

Dell

1. Go to https://www.dell.com/support/home/ca/en/rc1381018/?app=warranty
2. Enter your service tag code. This can usually be found on the underside of your computer.
3. Click Search
4. When your asset information is displayed, click on "View Warranty Details". The Start Date will be the original date of manufacture for your device.
    

Apple

Apple provides guidance for finding your serial number here: https://support.apple.com/en-ca/HT204308

1. Go to https://checkcoverage.apple.com/
2. Enter your device serial number.
3. Click Lookup.
4. The date range of your device model will be displayed, for example, "MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011)"

Lenovo

1. Go to https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/warrantylookup#/
2. Enter your Serial Number
3. Click Submit
4. Under "Warranty History", the start date will be the original date of manufacture for your device.
