Forticlient Icon Missing

After restarting their computer - required to complete the VPN update - users notice that the shortcut or icon they had set for connecting to Forticlient had disappeared. The guide below can help with finding and recovering it.

Recovering Missing Icon

After completing the restart the icon may come back after a few minutes on its own.

If it doesn't appear, you can navigate down to the arrow in the bottom right hand corner of your screen where extra icons are stored that aren't on your task bar. From there you should see the blue shield icon for Forticlient and you can right click on the icon and select Open Forticlient Console. That will open the program and if you want easier access to it in the future you can right click on the program window in your task bar and pin it to task bar.

If you still are unable to find the app still you can try re-installing Forticlient on your computer and following the steps above after installation to find the icon if necessary.
