How to Create a Strong password

  • Create long passwords, your StFX password must be 14 characters.
  • Create passwords using unrelated words or phrases; avoid using personal information, hobbies, popular culture, or other common phrases.
  • Always change temporary passwords after first use.
  • Create passwords that include upper and lowercase letters, numbers, spaces, and symbols.
  • Never share your password with others.
  • Create unique passwords for every website, application, and system; avoid reusing passwords.

Step 1 Do not use Sequential Number, Step 2 use a combo of numbers, letter, and symbols. Step 3 exclude birth dates, Step 4 combine unrelated words, Step 5 do not use names or words in the dictionary, Step 6 use a password manager, Step 7 Do not reuse passwords
