Environment: Mac User on WebFX trying to print
Purpose: To resolve the Hold for Authentications Error when printing
Try Restarting
If your computer comes on and off campus frequently a restart will likely resolve the hold for authentication issue.
Input Credentials
Press the Retry button in the printer queue and input your password
Clear out KeyChain Entry
1. Click on magnifying glass located in Apple menu bar.
2. Type in Keychain access in search bar.
3. In the keychain access application search bar type in the name of the printer and delete out saved WebFX credentials and the name of the printer that has issues with files being sent.
4. After you delete these credentials the next time you go to print a document you will be prompted for your StFX credentials (Username/password). Click remember my credentials.
5. Click OK.
