Residence Network Support

What is this service?

Report issues in your residence Ethernet or wireless network connection.     Residence rooms should have a strong connection to the WebFX wireless and each room should have one active network jack for Ethernet access.

If you are looking to connect a gaming or streaming device to the network refer to the Wireless Device Registration Service

Why is it useful?

Alerts IT Services to network outages and poor signals in residence buildings.

Devices such as wireless printers and routers are not permitted on the residence connections.  They can affect the quality and experience for others in residence.  If a device causing disruptions is detected the port will be disabled.
