Purpose: How to find Windows OS version and computer specific name
To determine what version of Windows you are running follow the steps below:
- Right click on "My Computer" and click "Properties
2. If your Window's edition displays Windows 7, you are running Windows 7. If it says Windows 10, then you are running Windows 10. There will also be a graphic to the right of this displaying the logo for either Windows 7 or Windows 10.
Your computer name will be listed directly beside "Computer name"
