Sentinel One is a subscription-based antivirus software for stfx owned computers and Mobile devices.
Why is it useful?
Antivirus software is recommended for all faculty and staff to protect stfx devices from malicious software. Antivirus programs serve as a proactive defence mechanism, detecting and neutralizing malicious software such as viruses, malware, and ransomware before they can compromise the integrity of a computer or network. By regularly scanning and monitoring for potential threats, antivirus tools provide a crucial layer of protection, preventing unauthorized access, data breaches, and system disruptions.
How do I access this service?
SentinelOne is installed when devices are entered into our Intune device management platform. Systems deployed by IT Services have S1 pre-configured. Older devices with compliant operating systems can be added by installing and logging into Microsoft's company portal app.
