What is this service?
Assets belonging to StFX need to be returned to IT Services upon a staff/faculty leaving the university, when an asset becomes obsolete, or non functioning. This includes all computer, mobile devices and peripherals.
Exception: Assets that belong to a department outside of the Evergreen program that is under the renewable mark. These should be reimaged prior to a new user being assigned to the device.
Why is it useful?
Allows assets to be re provisioned eliminating wasted resources amoung stfx. Removes obsolete devices and ensures that stored data is removed from devices prior to recycling.
