StFX provides students, faculty, and staff with sixty-five enterprise-class multifunction devices. Students have access to twenty student-specific printers, while faculty and staff have access to all sixty-five. To connect a computer to one of these units, please select your operating system below:

Student Printing Setup Instructions

Student Printers are identified using the Green Name Tags

Students should use Mobility printing to connect their devices to campus printers.

For help with releasing a print job from the secured print queue:

  1. Swipe your Student ID card at a Student printer - Student Printer Locations
  2. Follow the knowledge base article below for your operating system to connect you computer or laptop to campus printers
Faculty and Staff using StFX deployed systems 

Staff and Faculty Printers are identified using the (Orange name tags):

  Windows

Mac OS 

Set up your StFX ID card swipe to eliminate the logging into the device.  Each device has swipe on the right tray to allow association of your account to the printers.  This eliminates the need to log in at the devices. 

Faculty and Staff Personally Owned or non Domain devices

Personally owned or non domain joined devices can access printer

StFX provides faculty and staff access to a fleet of sixty-six enterprise-class multifunction devices located in key areas on campus. Faculty and staff can print directly to a device (unsecured printing) or can print to a Virtual Queue (PrintFX) and release their jobs at the nearest device.
StFX provides student access to a fleet of twenty-one enterprise-class multi-function devices located in key areas on campus These units provide print, scan and copy services. Students can connect to the devices using their own computers, or through StFX deployed stations.
