Remote Support Agent Teamviewer

What is this service?

Teamviewer is an application that enables you to screen share with IT Services to assist in troubleshooting and remote assistance. TeamVeiwer works across multiple platforms, including Window, Mac, mobile devices.  Remote support is available to the StFX community on and off campus.

Why is it useful?

Using a remote assistance agent enable IT Services to support your computer remotely, reducing service time.  To conduct a remote session, you must be available to approve access on your computer for an IT Services Support Staff to share your screen.   Teamview can be used on mac, windows, ios and andriod platforms.

How do I access this service?

Most stfx owned Windows devices will be have this application installed already.  During a scheduled service request you will be asked to provide a client id number from your Teamviewer client as well as password to authorize the remote session.   Other devices and operating systems can download the software below.
