What is this service?
Email at StFX is provided to students, faculty, and staff by Office365, Microsoft's cloud-based productivity, and collaboration platform. Accounts are allotted 50GB of cloud base storage. Email address are based on your StFX username. StFX also offers generic or operational, (ex itservices) accounts and affiliate accounts which are granted mailbox rights.
Why is it useful?
Email via Office365 allows users to securely send and receive email messages from any computer with an Internet connection.
How do I access this service?
There are 2 ways to check your StFX emails.
- Email can be accessed online at office365.stfx.ca
- Configuring a local client. Email can be configured on computers and mobile devices. IT Services recommends using the Outlook mail client as it provides access to the most office 365 integrations. Included with you office 365 account StFX accounts the ability download complete office suite packages as well apps for mobile clients.
