What is this service?

Technology Consulting aims to facilitate the academic and business undertakings of faculty and staff by providing and supporting technology. This service includes:

  • Identification and resolution of computer hardware issues (ie: computer won't turn on)
  • Identification and resolution of computer software issues (ie: issues with Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft Office, etc)
  • Consultation on computer and hardware selection
  • Setting up a new stfx purchased computer or peripheral (for example a printer or monitor)
  • Hardware support and selection
  • Data recovery
  • Support and consultation for Research Technology

Why is it useful?

If you are experiencing issues with your stfx owned computer equipment or require set up of new equipment, this service will allow scheduling of a technology consultant to assist you.

You may also schedule time to consult with a technology consultant regarding hardware selection, purchases, etc.

How do I access this service?

Click "Schedule A Consult" to the right. Once a technician is available to service your request, you will receive an email with a link to book a Calendly appointment that best fits your schedule.
