What is this service?

Employees who require a mobile device to fulfill operational employment obligations may request to purchase a device under the university corporate mobility plan.  All employees who are members of the corporate mobility plan must review and agree to the Wireless Communications Device Policy & Procedures located on the Finance Policy Portal.

Why is it useful?

StFX University has contracted for mobility service with Bell Aliant.  This service is for employees who are deemed eligible to participate based on employment requirements.  To view eligibility criteria, please see the Wireless Communications Device Policy & Procedures. If you are eligible, please follow the below steps:

How do I access this service?

  • Current plan participants and any new account members must agree to the Wireless Communications Device Policy & Procedures. 
  • StFX University purchases mobile devices outright through Quarterback Mobile.   Device types will be discussed based on approved university models and availability. 
  • Completed forms are reviewed by IT Services.  All new requests require supervisor and VP approval.  If approved then the phone will be ordered, if not approved you will receive notification.  Click on Request Cellular Device to start your request.

Important Information
