What is this service?
An affiliate account is a StFX account that is uniquely named as an individual but is currently not a staff or faculty member. Affiliate accounts are reviewed on an annual basis each year in May. Affiliates have access to Office 365 Online version but do not have the ability to download or verify the local installation Office Suite.
Why is it useful?
Affiliate accounts are used frequently for volunteer positions, external entities operating on campus such as Sodexo & WellSpring, elected board officials, and cross institution Moodle courses.
How do I request this service?
All affiliate accounts must be sponsored by and existing faculty or staff member who agrees the account will adhere to by the acceptable use policy.
To request an affiliate account click the "Request Service" button to the right.
All affiliate accounts require approval from a member of Presidents Council. Upon form submission, email approval is automatically sent to the approving office of your choice. Once approval has been received by IT Services the account creation process will commence.
